MORGAN OLD FASHIONED
Ingredients:
- 11/2 OZ CAPTAIN MORGAN PRIVATE STOCK
- 1/2 OZ HONEY SYRUP (EQUAL PARTS HONEY AND WATER,
- HEATED UNTIL DISSOLVED, AND COOLED)
- 2 TO 3 DASHES OF ORANGE BITTERS
- CHERRY, FOR GARNISH
- ORANGE PEEL, FOR GARNISH
Process:
- IN A ROCKS GLASS, ADD CAPTAIN MORGAN PRIVATE STOCK,HONEY SYRUP, BITTERS, AND ICE.
- STIR TO COMBINE.
- GARNISH WITH A CHERRY AND AN ORANGE PEEL.
Rye Sazerac
Ingredients:
- 1.3 oz. Bulleit Rye
- 0.25 oz. absinthe
- 1 cube sugar
- 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
Process:
- Muddle sugar and bitters, add the rye and stir with ice.
- Strain into an old-fashioned glass that's been chilled and rinsed with absinthe.
Ingredients:
- 1 OZ CAPTAIN MORGAN ORIGINAL SPICED RUM
- 1/2 OZ FRESH LEMON JUICE
- 1 OZ APPLE CIDER
- 1 PINCH OF GROUND CINNAMON, PLUS MORE FOR GARNISH
- 1 TEASPOON OF BROWN SUGAR
- 3 OZ OF PROSECCO
- APPLE SLICE, FOR GARNISH
Process:
- IN A COCKTAIL SHAKER, ADD CAPTAIN MORGAN ORIGINAL SPICED RUM, LEMON JUICE, APPLE CIDER, CINNAMON, BROWN SUGAR, AND ICE.
- SHAKE AND STRAIN INTO A FLUTE GLASS.
- TOP WITH PROSECCO.
- GARNISH WITH APPLE SLICE AND CINNAMON.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/3 oz Bulleit Rye
- 4-5 Cloves
- 1 Lemon Twist
- ¼ lemon juice
- 1 tsp demerara or fine brown sugar
- Hot Water
Process:
- To begin, fill up glass or mug with fresh boiling water and let stand While mug is warming up, cut a lemon twist and stud it with cloves Next, throw out the water in the mug and add fresh boiling water.
- Add 1 bar spoon of demerara or fine brown sugar and stir to dissolve.
- Add lemon and clove garnish, ¼ ounce lemon juice and stir.
- Finally, add 1.3 ounces of Bulleit Rye or Bourbon and stir a final time.
Ingredients:
- 1.25 oz. Bulleit Bourbon
- 2 bar spoons simple syrup
- 3 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 orange peel
Process:
- Add two bar spoons of simple syrup, three dashes of bitters and Bulleit Bourbon to a large rocks glass.
- Add ice.
- Stir gently until the level of the ice and liquid equalize.
- Zest an orange peel over the glass then add the peel to the drink as a garnish.
